Pinoy nga naman :The Flip'inos

The Ninoy pose. Noynoy Aquino is expected to
live up to his parents' honor and legacy to the country.

"Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do." ------- Dale Carnegie

I had a status post on Facebook that goes like "I'm fine with Noynoy, but I didn't vote for him". Upon contemplating on what I have just said I think I should rephrase my statement to: I didn't vote for Noynoy but I'm fine with him.

And upon hearing and reading comments (and rantings) on Noynoy's convincing victory, I'm just so disappointed. I am so disappointed with these Filipinos who are so unhappy with the result of this election. Why don't you just move on and accept the will of the people.

Like I said I didn't vote for Noynoy, but more than 13 million Filipinos did. And you can't rant about and give sore comments like "ang bobo ng mga pinoy". F*ck you! You're the kind of Filipno that Jose Rizal pertained as "higit pa ang amoy sa mabahong isda". You're the very kind of people that went on to EDSA to trounce former president ERAP which in result ended in a worse situation for our nation. Let me make this clear, I'm not an ERAP supporter, but neither am I a detractor. I'm just so exasperated with the ignorance of Filipinos that time to overreact and ruin EDSA revolution's true essence by trying to imitate or trying to get the feel of the original EDSA revolt in 1986. Now what after ERAP, you got GMA. It's like coming out the frying pan and ending up into the fire. And as majority of the nation disgusts her, I can only sigh and say "Kasalanan niyo yan". But in all fairness to GMA, she had also done some good to our nation.

History repeats itself. After having the most convincing and probably the most stain-free elections in the history of the Philippines, why do we have these nasty and unhappy people complaining of the results. Maybe we really can't take it away. It's human nature. Just what the Rolling Stones say, we can't get no satisfaction.

As the Filipinos have already spoken, let's help our incoming president in propelling this nation to progress. For chrissake it's time for a change. And that change starts with us. God bless the Philippines.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." ------ Barack Obama

P.S.
I voted for Gibo and Binay.
