First Time

I was really on a roll this past weekend (Monday-May10 included) as I have a lot of first time experiences.

Friday.5.7.10
Gang: Sales and Marketing Department. Destination: Enchanted Kingdom. Oh yeah it was my first time. Our department was treated with this getaway by the management as we showed good sales report on the first quarter of this year. One thing that my mates and I have in common is that we all love and enjoy going on a trip.

All hell break loose as we immediately tried one of the daredeviliest rides of the park, Anchors Away. I really felt that ride to be dangerous. We were swinged 90˚ which make my ass detach from the seat every time we're up on the air. Thank God I was able to survive that ride.

That made me bolder to try other rides like the Space Shuttle. In fact, I've tried it twice.

I hope to be back in EK within this month only with a different gang.

Still dazed from a hilarious anchors away ride.
Post EK. Gatorade and Pepsi had come in very handy.
Rialto. Though it was "corny", at least we
enjoyed the 15-minute kiddie movie.
Ganged on the Wizard. Others were irritably waiting
for us to finish our turn w/ the Wizard.
The Team. Posing and taking rest.

This is what we did while waiting for the others
who were at the souvenir shop.

Trying to imitate a scene from a movie I forgot the title.
Sunday.5.9.10
After accompanying my cousin and "wowa" to the bus station, I was not ready to bare the heat of staying at home. So I decided to wander the Araneta Center. I've surveyed Mogwai which I long to go to for a long time. One of these weekends I hope to be able
to go there.

When I was already feeling hopeless of finding a good place to hang out at the moment, I noticed a long line at the Big Dome. So the fuss is about the most popular basketball squad in town, Barangay Ginebra Kings. Ginebra and B-Meg Derby Ace (formerly Purefoods) will clash in the second game of this conference's regular games. So I decided to watch the game. This is my first time to watch a PBA game live at the Big Dome. I was treated with two exciting games. The first game between Air 21 and Rain or Shine couldn't be better as it was settled in overtime period. Rain or Shine won the game 106-102.

The second game was a bit disappointing as Ginebra bows to B-Meg. Obviously I was routing for Ginebra. I also failed to hear and chant with the ever popular "Ginebra, Ginebra!" chant. The game ended with a 95-82 score in favor of B-Meg.

Overall, it was still worth it and a good first time experience. I wasn't able to take a picture though because my phone's battery is dead..

Monday.5.10.10
To wrap up my first time experiences this weekend, I voted for the first time and as we already all know, it was the first automated election not only in the Philippines but in south east Asia region.

In contrast to the TV reports I've watched before I went to my precinct, I voted in a very hassle-free manner. I was very glad to practice my right and exercise my responsibility to vote. Though my pick for presidency and mayoralty didn't win, it's okay. I'm good with the result unlike those losers who rant about the results.

Voted. My vote's for Gibo and Binay.
